Tactile Glances from the Cidneo&#8221; was initiated in 2022 by the   <\/span><b>Lions club<\/b> <b>Brescia Leonessa X Days<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> together with numerous Lions clubs and by the<\/span><b> Friends of the Cidneo Committee<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The conception and scientific coordination are by Ivana Passamani, who worked through constant discussion with representatives of the<\/span><b>Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Brescia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and with the <\/span><b>National Federation of Institutions for the Blind.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  Rome. The graphic composition of the panels was edited by Andrea Schincariol. <br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It has been planned to create a path for getting to know the <\/span><b>Castle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> aimed at the blind and visually impaired but usable by all, with a view to adhering to the principles of <\/span><b>Design for All<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, where through the installation of <\/span><b>visual-tactile panels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> experiences of getting to know <\/span><b>landscape views<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and architecture of the Castle. <br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The itinerary then covers the articulated site of the Castle, which dominates the city of Brescia from the top of the <\/span><b>Cidneo hill<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: it is presented both in its <\/span><b>relationship with the city<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  and its monuments both as a historical-monumental complex. Most importantly, it is interpreted as a stage from which visual experiences to be communicated to all visitors. &nbsp;<br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Seven tactile panels have been planned, characterized by systematization and continuity of narrative: some are placed in the public space outside the Castle, two inside it. <br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The panels have the size of 118 x 50 cm and are characterized, as well as the frames and metal supports, by the color anthracite gray, which harmonizes with the furnishing elements of the Castle.<br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The layouts of the panels facilitate the<\/span><b>orientation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and the<\/span><b>tactile exploration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: In the center is presented the main design in relief, flanked in the right-hand band by the legend for the description of the most important elements or in-depth texts or drawings.
